Rock n Rolla’s

This Australian line specializing in denim, Rolla’s, has recently caught my eye and instantly became my new favourite clothing brand. Rolla’s really reminded me of rock n roll and the whole vintage fashion emphasizing on denim aesthetic. Their focus is on “simple details and clean lines… it’s all about the look, the fit and keeping it simple”. Simplicity and fine denim (I LOVE denim) are the reasons why I fell in love with this brand.

I’ve managed to “steal” two Rolla’s pieces (a denim short and a button up shirt) from two different retailers within a month time frame at very, very low prices. The denim shorts I got was on sale from $99 down to $70 from the site I’ve discovered late last year called Clash Boutique. It’s funny because I wanted to buy it for summer but patience prevails and leads to sale items. I was very happy about the denim quality of the shorts, it was so soft and comfortable. There were dyed sections and the distressing was so delicate. The cut was perfect too, not too baggy nor too skinny. Simply a perfectly crafted denim shorts.

Meanwhile, the shirt I got was from an outlet store in Auckland called Dressmart and they had this crazy deal of 2 shirts for only $50!! The shirt alone costs $99 on the Rolla’s site! I can’t stress enough how reduced priced items are much needed for students who love fashion and good quality brands.
